A company of seven (five actors and two musicians) present Shakespeare’s The Tempest in a bare-bones, Poor Theatre staging. Immediate. Intimate. Music, Monsters – and Magic, not Illusion. Hear the words of Billy “The Upstart Crow” Shakspur’s final play – his farewell to the magic of theatre – vibrating through the air and the floor and your body in the room. Produced by a company of award-winning New Hampshire-based actors: Rebecca Fowler, Will Fraser, Peter Josephson, Angela Hope Smith*, & Jenry Towle, with musicians Dan Codispoti & Matt Codispoti. Initiated, facilitated, & guided by Andrew Codispoti.
The company will be available to join the audience in discussion after the performance.
