Jack Martini

Skinny Tall Man - Jack Martini (Official Video)

Fresh off of his performance at Governors Ball, frontman and songwriter, Jack Martini cooks up his pop songs with hints of hip-hop, humour and 60’s rock. At the age of thirteen, Martini began writing comical lyrics with his father. Although, it is no longer a joke, the satiric aura still remains in the spirit of Jack Martini. With features on PopCrush and Culture Collide, Martini continues to build his following in New York and Boston, with performances of his EPs D.R.Y. and Marmalade Love at Sofar Sounds, Arlene’s Grocery and Rockwood Music Hall’s main stage. Jack and his musicians will expand their territory with his upcoming first full-length album and an east coast tour in Spring 2018.

Hayley Reardon

Hayley Reardon - Everything Else | Sofar London

Born in 1996 just outside of Boston, Massachusetts, Hayley Reardon discovered a passion for writing folk songs on her mother’s old guitar at a very young age. She quickly established a name for herself in the storied Cambridge, Massachusetts folk scene.

Reardon was named a Bostonian of the Year by the Boston Globe Magazine in 2012 in celebration of not only her music but her work to use it as a vessel for empowerment. With a voice that is distinctively rich and a contemplative sincerity in her songwriting, Reardon has far more in common with Patty Griffin, Lucinda Williams, and Tracy Chapman than many of today’s young pop singer/songwriters, boasting a lyrical and melodic weight far beyond her years.

Performer Magazine describes her music as “brilliantly moving folk/pop with a lyrical depth and soul,” while American Songwriter Magazine refers to Numb and Blue, the lead single from Wayfindings, as “a melancholy little masterpiece.”

Her latest album, entitled “Good” (Fall 2016 release) was entirely fan-funded by a highly successful Kickstarter campaign. Produced by Lorne Entress (Lori McKenna, Catie Curtis, Erin McKeown), “Good” is a dazzling reflection of a period of immense growth and change, as lush arrangements surround the heartfelt and humble rawness of Hayley’s writing.

Humbird - Kansas City, MO [Official Video]

Humbird will be joined tonight by Eliza Edens for a special duo set!

After traversing 5 continents and 20 countries with only a guitar and a backpack, Humbird returns home to sing songs from the edge of the world. Combining a wintry longing with the warmth of a familiar folktale, Humbird stretches traditional genres of folk and Americana to embrace the unexpected. This music invites a refreshing dissonance into the house, it leaves breadcrumbs along the path and reflects light back at the stars.

Creating music out of a mosaic of influences like Joni Mitchell, Bon Iver and Bill Frisell, Humbird weaves it all together with powerful lyrics and a stubborn pursuit of the sound of the North. The release of Humbird’s double EP “Elsewhere” and “Where Else” in Summer 2017 is just the beginning.
