Their love for early rock ’n’ roll, true country, raw blues and pretty much any kind of authentic American music branded them quickly as anomalous — and electrifying. Since that time they’ve barnstormed far beyond their Boston hometown, playing honky-tonks, beer joints and more recently concert venues throughout the U.S. They’ve amassed a loyal legion of fans along the way. The media have noticed too, including Rolling Stone, which heralds them as a “modern-day Buddy Holly plus Dwight Yoakam divided by the Mavericks.”
Ward Hayden and The Outliers are a musical force to be reckoned with. From heart wrenching ballads, to foot-stompin rock and roll, Ward Hayden and the Outliers deliver every time.
Marina and Berna are an international folk/americana duo who divide their time between Marina’s native New England and Berna’s native Italy. Combining Marina’s strong, sultry vocals, effortless melodies, & unusual lyrics with the raw, gritty edge of Bernardo’s slide guitar (or the sweet interjections of his mandolin), the duo’s sound has been refined over years together on the road, the stage, and in the studio. Together the pair has toured across the United States and in Europe, and is now releasing singles off their third original record. Marina’s passionate live performance has earned her solo opening sets for such legends as Judy Collins, Dar Williams, Jonathan Edwards, and Loudon Wainwright III, as well as two nominations for Female Performer of the Year at the New England Music Awards.
