This June 17’ marks the arrival of his 14th recording, “Burn” with a new crew of musicians and a new batch of songs. The Evan Goodrow Band "a cult Boston act that plays by it's own rules", continues to change and morph around a once again redefined sound.
Sonic Avionics is the brainchild of Julian Sciolla and Bryan Thomas. They immediately connected over a love for soul and funk music and an affinity for the drumming of Stanton Moore in particular. The two had played in several bands and situations together before, and decided to start a new, original, funk/soul project. Julian, a high school music teacher, met a talented young freshman and was happily surprised to learn that he was the son of a former music college buddy, Matt Descoteaux. Julian reached out to him, and added him to the group. Matt, impressed having heard Sean Lavigne in one of his many music projects, recommended him to round out the group and the quartet hasn’t looked back since. They have been playing out for several months, and are currently in the studio recording their first full length album, “On the Air” due out in early 2018.
